The Whitford House

Built in 1790, this historic farm house was owned for 150 years by the Whitford family, successful Merino sheep farmers. Constructed with hand-hewn beams and whole tree trunks — with bark still intact — the property exudes old-world Vermont charm. It features two fireplaces, a library for relaxing, a spacious and sunny great room, a peaceful dining room, and a newly-renovated eat-in kitchen.

Each of the four comfortable bedrooms feature a private en suite bath, inviting guests who seek relaxed, quiet Vermont country living. During warmer weather, the outdoor covered porch and newly-renovated deck make for peaceful reading, yoga, outdoor meals, or enjoying the views and listening to the birds.
